Silver Moon Cinema FAQs and Fiction

I wanna come where are you?
Silver Moon Cinema is located downtown on Oak Street between Locust and Front Streets, near the Toad Suck Store and the fire station.

What time do the movies start?
Times will vary depending on pre-movie entertainment and time of sunset. Movies start at dark, so check our web site frequently for up-to-date info for every movie.

How much will it cost me to get in?
Silver Moon Cinema is ALMOST FREE! Our suggested donation is $1.00 per person… but of course you can always contribute more! Proceeds benefit a different local charity group for each event!

What should I bring?
Seating, the kids, parents, neighbors, strangers and maybe a blanket… and a deck of cards to entertain the kids. Sorry NO pets, please. And no smoking in the seating area — please be respectful of others.

What is there to do before the movie starts?
Come early and shop the downtown merchants, get a cappucino, eat dinner, window shop, or just hang out with your family and friends. Feel free to bring a deck of cards or a board game to entertain the kids while you enjoy the sunset and wait for the movie to start. There will be food and concessions available before the movie begins. Come early for the popcorn!

What will the weather be like?
For last minute updates, check out the local forecast for the evening’s event by clicking on our local weather link. (Check out Weather Forecast)

What if it rains?
In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled for a new date. Check Conway Corp. Weather Channel 13 or call the Parks & Recreation cancellation hotline at 513-3591.

Where will I sit?
BYO (Bring Your Own) seating… a lawn chair, a bean bag chair, a couch, an inner tube, a blanket … anything you’ll be comfy sitting on for a couple of hours. We suggest low back chairs or bean bags. Seating is General Admission… but you may be asked to move to the rear of the crowd if you bring high backed seating to avoid blocking the view of others.
