Welcome back for another season of Silver Moon Cinema! We look forward to another great season of community-spirited, big-screen celebrations of movies both old and new. It seems unbelievable that we have been welcoming movie fans into the street since 2004, but it's a fact. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket or a beanbag chair or whatever seating suits you and load up the kids to enjoy a night under the stars for almost FREE! A $1 donation to a local charity gets you a spot in the street to call your own. At least for the movie, anyway.

With its old-fashioned, outdoor summer entertainment and laid-back family fun, Silver Moon Cinema is out in the street again this year with our huge 32'X24' inflatable screen. In seasons past, some movies have drawn crowds as big as 1,700 of your friends and neighbors, so add these dates to your calendar now or you'll miss out on the fun!

Since our first season in 2004, Silver Moon Cinema has helped raise nearly $40,000 for local charity groups by asking for a $1 donation from each person for the movie and giving the charity group the opportunity to sell concessions. All proceeds go to the charity selected for that event. But equally important, we've provided a lot of parents the beginning of a family tradition that people all over Arkansas and surrounding states are talking about and trying to start in their own communities. Come downtown for a movie you might just meet some new friends.

Silver Moon Cinema is a city of Conway Parks and Recreation program, with assistance and planning from volunteers and business sponsors within the community. The event expenses are paid for by local businesses so that ALL event proceeds go to local charities. Movies start at dark but the times change depending on any pre-movie activities and time of sunset, so check the website frequently for information. Bring a friend and a chair, load up the family and enjoy a movie out under the stars!
